In this modern day and age we need a modern way of volunteering. Most people nowadays don’t have time to commit to doing volunteer work on a weekly basis. That’s why Amsterdam Cares offers a unique way of contributing to society: flexible volunteer work.
We all want to do some good in the world. However a busy schedule can make regular volunteering impossible for many of us. Therefore Amsterdam Cares has made volunteering 100% flexible. You volunteer whenever it suits you. And if you participate just a few times a year, it’s already a significant and very welcome contribution!
Amsterdam Cares supports more than 80 activities a month. Examples of our activities are: packing foodpackages at the foodbank, playing a board game with elderly or helping children with their homework. Amsterdam Cares is part of the American Handson Network. In the Netherlands, the organisation has offices in Arnhem, Utrecht, Eindhoven, Den Haag and Rotterdam. By offering flexible volunteer work, we’re creating a network of young, energetic people who all actively participate in society and social wellbeing. Nederland Cares links professionals to those less fortunate, thereby increasing mutual involvement and social cohesion in our society.
